It's not infected!
Apparently the swabs from Wednesday had no bacteria on them, so the cheap vodka did the cleaning trick. I would have been surprised, anyways, considering the amount of antiseptics I was using on that fucker.
So it wasn't pus. It was just more lymph than I've ever seen in one place at one time.
The nurses in the NHS have these amazing dressings that they've been keeping on my leg that just suck up lymph, but that they can remove without causing me undue pain. So everything is clean and happy and healing, and I can run again as soon as I want to (that is, as soon as it doesn't hurt).
And it's free. Excellent.
